We lived on the top floor, specifically booked this particular apartment - with a balcony. From the balcony you can see the sea, where you can drink tea in the evening, although it is small. The location is very colorful, the life of Istanbul is teeming around: local residents work in workshops, children play in the yard in the evening. We specifically chose just such a place to immerse ourselves in the flavor of the city. This may come as a bit of a shock to you if you're driving with different expectations. But we really liked it: we watched entire "series" in the evening, when women communicated with each other, men returned from work. It is very interesting and informative if you want to feel Turkey. The apartment itself is perfect - no exaggeration. It is new, it has everything (except shampoo :), everything is very comfortable, clean and cozy. We chose according to reviews, I reviewed about 400 places of accommodation, settled on this apartment and my wife and I were very satisfied. We walked around many famous historical places of Istanbul, looked at how the city lives - everything was great. It is very difficult to get to the hotel by taxi. I recommend that you indicate this address for the driver: Şehsuvar Bey, Kadırga Meydanı Sk. No:60, 34130 Fatih/İstanbul From this square go up the street to the hotel 20 meters.

The apartment is ideally located, everything is within walking distance, no need for a car. If you like to feel the atmosphere of a country nothing better than staying in a popular neighborhood. We were able to combine sightseeing and taste the authentic Istanbul atmosphere. A warm welcome and an apartment both functional but full of charm corresponding to the typical houses of Istanbul.

The apartment is spacious and cozy. It has a view on the sea and is in a lively area of Fatih away from the normal tourist locations. So, it has quite an authentic feeling.

Отличная чистая квартира со свежим ремонтом в историческом доме середины 19 века (реконструкция была в 2018 году). Мы жили в квартире на 2 этаже с эркером, на 1 этаже есть небольшая терраса, а в квартире на 3 этаже- балкон. Вся бытовая техника в наличии, в отличном состоянии, есть кондиционеры в каждой комнате поэтому в январе было тепло. Удобное расположение в стороне от дороги в тихом переулке. До площади Султанахмет 15 минут пешком. Рядом несколько супермаркетов и магазинов. Очень отзывчивый владелец Ильхан, всегда на связи в WhatsApp, помогал по всем вопросам. Большое спасибо за отличный отдых!

Really authentic experience! This property is located on a vibely resident street. It is a historic building recently renovated. Perfect clean and cosy inside - a spacios bedroom on one side, batroom with shower in the middle and a kitchenete and a living room with a sofa convertable into a large bed on the other side. Two balconies. The accomodation is in a historic building, it features 3 floors, one apartment per floor. I've stayed on a top floor and it was superb! I could feel like a local. Plenty of retaurants and cafes and shops in 50 meters and all key sightseeing places in waling distance. Ps. The property is on a steep hill (but everything is on a hill in Istambul). Not suitable for people with wheelchairs. Highly recommended for travellers looking for authentic local accomodations.

The landlord, Ilhan, and Mrs Gul are really nice and accommodating. We particularly liked the warmth and oriental-cosy style of the flat. It’s well located. Within a 10-15 minutes walk of everything in Sultanahmet. Nothing One side note for elderly people of people with short breath: Sultanahmet is made of little hills to walk up and down

Wunderschöne Wohnung in Mitten der Altstadt. Groß, top modern und sehr gepflegt. Besonders haben wir die Zeit auf dem vorderen Balkon genossen (2.Stock). Eigentümer sehr hilfsbereit und immer zu erreichen per WatsApp. Herzlichen Dank.

Провели с подругой в этих чудесных апартаментах несколько дней в начале ноября. У нас было 2 номера - один с небольшой терассой, на которой я с утра пила кофе))Я жила а апартаментах в других странах, но нигде не встречала настолько хорошо продуманного оборудования номера. В нем есть абсолютно все, что нужно, чтобы не испытывать даже малейшего дискомфорта от отсутствия привычных мелочей. Не просто чайник, но и чай, кофеварка (и фильтры к ней)и приличный молотый кофе, посудомоечная машина с таблетками и тп!! Даже зонт на случай дождливой погоды! Прекрасная чистейшая ванная. Отдельной похвалы заслуживает кровать с удобнейшим матрасом - засыпается на ней легко и встаешь прекрасно отдохнувшим. До Голубой мечети и других основных достопримечательностей Стамбула - 10 минут неспешным шагом)) В следующую поездку в Стамбул я безусловно остановлюсь здесь!
Ничего улучшать не нужно, все и так прекрасно.

I understand why Ilhan is a super host - we faced some issues and I messaged him the night before we went to bed and next morning he arrived at the property to help us switch to another apartment! Wonderful hospitality and can highly recommend this host! Every time I texted him, I received an instant response. The property itself is very close to the main attractions (blue mosque, Topkapı palace etc.) and there are wonderful bakeries right below the apartment which is very handy for morning bagels. very child friendly property, enough space for a three year old to run around without bumping into anything and knocking anything out. The property had everything one needs : coffee machine, kettle, kitchen amenities, salt, pepper etc. We did not face any issues in terms of the area. Everything went perfect and many thanks to the wonderful host! We hope to be back soon!

Ilhan is an outstanding host, even though we never got to meet him, he was always quick to respond and organized everything neatly! The Airbnb itself was more spacious than we expected and equipped with everything we needed! We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect location in the old city, authentic heart of Istanbul close to main attractions (Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace... you can reach them in 10 minutes by foot). Ilhan is very helpful and quickly replies to every question, you can feel that he can help you everytime. The apartment has everything you need and is furnished with good taste. We really enjoyed Istanbul staying here.

IIhan was very helpful host and ready to recommend all the best places in the city. He answered all our requests very fast and professionally. Location is perfect - 10 minutes walk to Sultanahmet and all the major points of interest. You can have a breakfast on the balcony with a sea view and very lively street. We loved to observe it’s dynamic life. We are planning to come back next year, so it definitely will be IIhan’s place for our next stay. Thank you, IIhan! That was wonderful vacation

Kitchen facilites are correct but scarce. Difficulty accessing with baby stroller. Poor soundproofing.
ThomasCheck in with Mrs. Gul wasn’t the easiest experience, but it worked out. I expected the bathroom to be a bit bigger than it was. All in all I would stay again. Air conditioning works great, Ilhan was very quick to respond, and the view from the balcony is priceless.

Excellent stay at the perfect location of Istanbul. The apartment was perfectly clean. Suprised with all the detail in decoration as well as quality of service. Wooden floor and ceiling makes an excellent atmopshere. Ottoman style divan was cozy to drink tea and watch the street. The owner is a polite young man capable of speaking fluent English. Delivery of keys was no problem as they have already sorted out a system. Would love to come back to this lovely place. Cok tesekurler!

Mr Ilhan is a very helpful person, friendly, polite and speaks very good english. He always try to solve your problem and fulfil your needs as much as he can. The flat itself was really good, all items functioned right, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and roomy. the sofa bed was also good. we did not use the dishwasher or the washing machine but they were both functional. There was a hairdryer, iron and vacuum cleaner in the flat.
It would be nice to have some cloth hanger in the bathroom and in the corridor. Also would be fine if one can adjust the aircondition manually. A simple folder with information on some practical things such as how to get tram tickets, how to reach the surrounding interesting places, how to go to the nearest Metro, and so on would be very useful. It would also be useful to show the surrounding of the flat, some people can not climb steep slope roads.

Ilhan did an amazing renovation on his flat- everything is perfect- immaculate and set up with everything that you could need for cooking, washing dishes and clothes, etc. The location itself is a bit off the beaten path, yet perfect for walking to major tourist sites. Ilhan is a great communicator and very helpful. The caretaker who let us in does not speak much English but is very helpful and lovely. Would definitely book again on another trip to Istanbul.

Only minor, the apartement located in hilly road. If your taxi drop you in low point, and if you are a woman or old person, it is a little difficult for you to carry big luggage. The solution is to keep in touch with owner (by phone or whatapps) about your arrival thus when you arrive they can help you to carry you big luggages

There's not a lot of insulation in the floor or ceiling. As a result the night with mellow upstairs neighbors was pretty enjoyable. The night with the little kids with no concept of bedtime, well, not so much.

The apartment is well located, close to major tourist attractions. It is well laid out and clean. It includes a full kitchen and washing machine, big pluses for us. Ilhan was very helpful and responsive, checking in on us periodically to be sure everything was OK.
The Wi-Fi was very weak. The patio outdoors stank of cat urine.

This is a recently tastefully renovated apartment at a walking distance from the famous Grand Bazaar which is opposite Bayzed tram station; from there you can go to all the famous places such as Sultanahmet Blue Mosque etc.
The apartment is most suitable to couples with/without children. It offers peace and quiet. You can do things at your own pace. It has a functional kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, fast and reliable wifi etc.
Mr Ilhan, the owner is a very warm, helpful and cooperative person. Throughout our stay, he helped us with to make our stay in Istanbul a memorable one. He is quite a gentleman. Gul the cleaning lady will take care of you for your day to day needs.

Bardzo przyjemne zaskoczenie! Po poprzedniej wizycie w Stambule nie oczekiwałem zbyt wiele w kwestii czystości i jakości hotelu, ale tym razem było znacznie lepiej.
Obsługa pomogła w zaplanowaniu wycieczki i wytłumaczył jak najlepiej poruszać sie po mieście :)
